One of our favourites, this recipe is delicious with a real zing of citrus. Many mums suffering from nausea find citrus flavours really help.
1 serve of MamaCare powder
1/4 cup of oats
1 heaped tbs desiccated coconut
1/2 tsp poppyseeds
Approximately 2 tbs lemon juice
Little of the zest optional
Toss all dry ingredients in a bowl and stir through to combine.
Add the juice a little at a time until you get a really dry rough crumbly mix.
Knead together with wet hands. If it’s a little dry add a touch more juice, if a little wet add more coconut or oats, no need to be precise here!
Divide into 4 and roll into balls, then coat with extra coconut.
Chill for a few minutes to firm up. Enjoy!
