From Begining to Birth and Beyond

Pregnancy is a time when women’s diets often change for the better.  Eating a nutritious diet is well known to be associated with good fetal brain development, a healthy birth weight and a reduction in the risk of some birth defects like Spina Bifida.Despite their best intentions many women find it hard to acheive and maintain a perfectly balanced diet every day.MamaCare has been specially formulated to support maternal nutrition during Pre-conception, Pregnancy and for New Mums in post natal recovery and whilst breast feeding. It’s an easy way to make sure you are getting the extra nutition you and your baby need.MamaCare can play an important role in helping women meet the increased nutritional requirements of pregnancy at a time when they may not be able to eat enough or get enough variety from food alone, particularly if suffering from morning sickness, nausea and vomiting, difficulty swallowing a tablet, food aversions and cravings.

MamaCare offers 30 essential nutrients, including Protein, Carbohydrates and Calcium as well as the recommended daily intake of vitamins such as Folic Acid, Iron, Iodine, B group Vitamins and Vitamin D.

Our once a day nutritional supplement provides approximately 50% of the recommended daily intake of vitamins minerals and nutrients  required for pregnancy, supporting a healthy diet. If food intake is severely impacted by nausea and vomiting, it can be taken twice a day.

 As MamaCare is taken as a shake, it’s more readily absorbed and gentle on the stomach. It contains a moderate dose of Iron and may be better tolerated than many pregnancy multivtiamin tablets which are often extremely high in Iron. This high level of Iron often causes and exacerbates nausea, reflux and constipation and be can difficult to swallow.

Research shows that approximately 85-90% of the vitamins and minerals contained in a supplement in liquid form are absorbed by the body, compared to 10-20% of the vitamins and minerals found in multivitamin tablets.*
